Our handling of personal data (our basic policy on the protection of personal data)
Mitsubishi Paper Mills Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") has established the Code of Conduct of the Mitsubishi Paper Mills Group with the aim of being a company that fulfills its social responsibilities as a corporation and lives up to the trust placed in it by society. We recognize that all individuals engaged in our operations must be aware of their obligations and, given the significance of protecting personal information, must handle personal information with the utmost care in order to uphold the spirit of our Charter and to be a trusted organization.
Therefore, we have established the following policy and are committed to strictly managing the personal information handled by Mitsubishi Paper Mills, including the personal information of our customers, in order to prevent its leakage, falsification or unauthorized acquisition.

4. Personal data security measures
The Company manages the personal information it handles appropriately and strictly, and takes necessary and appropriate security measures to prevent leakage, loss or damage of information, unauthorized access, destruction or alteration, and other necessary and appropriate measures.
The general manager of each business unit is responsible for the management and promotion of the company, and all employees are educated and aware of matters to be considered in the handling of personal information.

The Company does not acquire, use or provide to third parties any personal information requiring special consideration (including information on race, creed, social status, medical history, previous convictions and convictions, information on criminal damage, etc.) or information on trade union membership, family origin and legal domicile, healthcare and sexual life ('sensitive information'), except as provided for in the Personal Data Protection Act, other laws, regulations and guidelines.
