Base paper that is functional and easy to use

Masking tape is used in painting to mask off areas that should not be painted. Its backing is a thin and easy-to-tear paper known as "Washi." Drawing on our papermaking and processing technology accumulated over many years, this backing offers superior ply-adhesion, cutting, slivering, unwinding, adhesion to curved surfaces, release, overlapping, and clean-peeling. In addition to masking tape for automotive applications and sealing tape for construction, we also produce carrier tape for electronic components. All of our tape backing products have been developed to address the wide ranging needs of our customers who seek both functionality and ease of use.
